NZ – third fattest nation in the developed world

The Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Health Data Report 2009, just released this month, claims NZ is now the third fattest nation in the developed world. We’re not even ahead of Australia anymore!
In 2007 the obesity rate among adults in New Zealand was 26.5 percent with only the United States at 34.3 percent and Mexico at 30 percent higher.
